easyTRACK- Asset Management System and Asset Auditing
Introduction
Abudhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) is a multi-award-winning word class venue for hosting exhibitions. It has over 100,000 assets spread across its 6 entities in Abudhabi.
The Problem
The problem was managing 100,000 assests across 6 entities.
The Solution
Technowave International LLC (TI), a company registered in UAE and Abu dhabi under the Technowave Group was engaged by ADNEC to provide:
- Asset Management Software
- Barcode based Asset Management System
- Hardware and consumables
- Tagging of Assets
- Training in Asset Management.
Accordingly, Technowave International LLC conducted an initial gap analysis and successfully deployed its Easytrack- Asset Management System which has enabled more than 100 companies in Middle East to manage their assets effectively.
TI also proposed suitable Barcode printers and Handheld terminals to print barcode labels and scan the assets.
Later, ADNEC wanted to further enhance their Asset Management System Accordingly, TI developed and deployed customized software application to automate their asset requisition, asset approval and movement of assets between different entities of the Group. Recently, in 2021, ADNEC again engaged TI to conduct the audit of about 100,000 assets spread across its 6 entities. While engaging, TI was advised to undertake gap analysis and suggest measures for further improvement. Accordingly, TI has suggested ADNEC to migrate to RFID technology for easy identification and audit of assets.
