The Solution
Footfall Cam people counting system was proposed to the client. The footfall Cam hardware was installed on all entry and exit points of the stores. The first phase of the project covered 7 stores and the project was handled and coordinated by their sales and marketing team. The hardware was connected to the network and was powered by POE. The client was particularly impressed by the sleek, aesthetic and discreet design of the hardware. The client went with a cloud based solution.
Conclusion
Footfall Cam enabled the client to get an accurate count of people visiting the stores. Innovative features like Wi-Fi tracking enabled the client to get the number of repeat customers. They could quantify the results and compare it on a week-week and month-month basis. Some of their branches are located close to their competitors. Installation of footfall cam enabled them to study any impact in the number of customers when a competitor has an ongoing marketing campaign. The cloud based software enabled the client to generate various reports including sales conversion, demographic analysis in addition to the counting reports.
