The Datalogic PowerScan 9600 RFID Series brings UHF RFID and high-performance barcode reading together in a single industrial, cordless scanner. Instead of giving staff one device for barcodes and another for RFID tags, a single PowerScan 9600 RFID handles both, simplifying workflows, training and device management at a far lower cost than running two systems.
Built on Datalogic’s proven PowerScan 9600 platform, it is designed for retail stockrooms, logistics hubs, manufacturing floors and healthcare inventory, wherever goods carry RFID tags, barcodes, or both.
Two technologies, one trigger
The integrated UHF RFID engine reads and writes EPC tags at up to 1 m, with configurable range so you can read a single item or a whole carton. The imager reads 1D and 2D barcodes, including codes on mobile screens, and OCR text, making it ideal for mixed RFID and barcode environments.
Industrial-grade durability
The PowerScan 9600 family is built to withstand repeated drops onto concrete and more than 10 million trigger pulls, with a balanced, ergonomic grip for all-day use. Loud beeper, vibration and Green Spot feedback confirm every read, even in noisy areas.
Cordless freedom and easy integration
Bluetooth keeps operators free to move around the dock or shop floor. A removable smart battery and modular cradles with USB, RS-232 or Ethernet connections make it simple to integrate with WMS, ERP and POS systems.
