Technowave implemented a focused RFID retail system for Paneri Embroidery to improve stock visibility, goods movement tracking, store inventory checks, and checkout speed. The project connected RFID operations with the client’s custom ERP for practical day-to-day retail use.
Paneri Embroidery had high inward and outward article movement across warehouse and retail operations. The existing barcode-based handheld process required item-by-item line-of-sight scanning, which slowed inward processing, stock audits, and billing.
Technowave deployed an RFID-based retail management workflow using handheld RFID readers, RFID printers, RFID labels and consumables, and an RFID POS reader. The system was integrated with the client’s custom ERP to keep RFID transactions aligned with existing business data.
The vertical video section is designed for a YouTube Shorts-style project video. It can be used to show the actual RFID operation, such as item scanning, store stock verification, or user workflow inside the retail store.
This keeps the case study more practical for decision-makers because they can quickly see how the RFID process works instead of reading a long technical explanation.
RFID labels are encoded and linked with item data so store operations remain connected with the ERP.
Store users can perform faster inventory checks using RFID handheld readers without line-of-sight barcode scanning.
Tagged items can be verified more quickly during stock checks, reducing manual effort and mismatch risk.
The RFID POS reader helps reduce item-by-item barcode scanning during billing.
Improved speed and control in inventory-related retail operations.
ROI estimated from better stock visibility and process efficiency.
RFID POS reading reduces dependency on repetitive barcode scanning.
Improved visibility across store-level inventory and item movement.
RFID reduced the need for item-by-item line-of-sight scanning.
Two-way integration kept RFID activity aligned with business systems.
This project shows that RFID is not useful only for large enterprise apparel brands. A focused RFID rollout can help smaller and mid-sized retail chains solve practical problems such as stock mismatch, slow audits, inward delays, and limited item visibility.
By combining RFID handhelds, RFID labels, RFID printing, RFID POS reading, and ERP integration, Technowave helped Paneri Embroidery build a more efficient inventory and checkout process with measurable operational improvement.
Technowave supports RFID retail deployments from workflow planning and hardware supply to installation, ERP integration, training, and local support.
