Electronic Shelf Labels (ESLs) are e-ink digital displays that replace traditional paper price tags. They show real-time product information, pricing, promotions, QR codes, and more—updated instantly from a central system.
2. Why should I switch to ESLs?

ESLs are updated wirelessly via RF communication using ceiling-mounted access points connected to a cloud or on-premise ESL server.
5. Do I need internet connectivity?
A local network is required for internal communication. For cloud updates, internet access is needed, but local systems can also operate offline with scheduled sync.
6. What sizes of ESLs are available?
We offer ESLs from 1.54 inches to 13.3 inches, perfect for shelf pricing, freezers, bulk bins, and promotional signage.
7. Are there color options for ESL displays?

8. Can ESLs be used in cold storage or wet areas?
Yes. We offer freezer-rated ESLs (-25°C) and IP68 waterproof models used in fish & meat sections at ADCOOP, plus splash-proof tags for chilled displays.
9. How long do ESL batteries last?
ZKONG ESLs use long-life batteries lasting up to 10–15 years based on 1–2 updates per day.
10. Are the labels customizable?
Yes. Design templates to match your brand with logos, product names, prices, barcodes, QR codes, and bilingual layouts (Arabic & English).
11. Can ESLs be integrated with our POS or ERP system?
Yes. We integrate ESLs with existing POS, ERP, or WMS systems via APIs. Successful integration done for West Zone's POS.
12. Is it possible to schedule price updates automatically?
Yes. Automate promotions and discounts. For example, ADCOOP schedules bakery price changes every evening.
13. How many access points do I need?
Typically, one access point covers 500–1000 ESLs depending on layout. Our site survey optimizes coverage.
14. Can I track if an ESL didn’t update?
Yes. Two-way communication with feedback logs flags any missed updates instantly.
15. Is the system secure?
