Description
The Zebra VC8300 10-inch puts a large, glove-friendly touchscreen and a full Android computer on forklifts and other material-handling vehicles. Drivers see picks, put-aways and loading instructions on the 10.4-inch display and scan without leaving the cab, which cuts trips to paper lists or fixed terminals.
It is the replacement Zebra names for the discontinued VC80x, and it accepts adapters for legacy vehicle computer mounts, which simplifies upgrades.
Built for the warehouse and the freezer
The VC8300 is IP66 sealed and rated from -30 °C to 50 °C. The freezer version adds a heated resistive touchscreen, internal heaters and temperature sensors to prevent condensation when vehicles move between cold stores and the dock. A heated uninterruptible power supply keeps it running for at least 30 minutes when the vehicle power is off.
Fast Android platform with terminal emulation
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 octa-core processor with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB flash runs Android, upgradeable to Android 14. Ivanti Velocity terminal emulation is pre-loaded and pre-licensed, so existing green-screen WMS applications can move to Android with a modern touch interface.
Connect scanners and talk to the team
Wi-Fi 802.11ac 2×2 MU-MIMO and Bluetooth 5.0 connect the VC8300 to your network and to Zebra scanners such as the DS3600 and RS6000. USB-C, USB, two powered RS-232 ports and an 87 dBA speaker support push-to-talk with Workforce Connect PTT Express.
