Description
The Chainway C5E is the upgraded successor to Chainway’s popular C5 UHF RFID reader. It combines an integrated pistol-grip UHF RFID design with a modern Android 16 platform, a Qualcomm octa-core processor and up to 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, so RFID inventory, barcode and NFC apps run fast and stay supported for years.
Built around an Impinj E Family reader IC with Gen2X support, the C5E delivers long read range and high read rates for full-store stock counts, warehouse cycle counts, asset audits and returnable-container tracking.
Fast, long-range RFID
Read up to 1,300 tags per second with a read range of more than 30 m in open space. Output power is adjustable from +5 to +30 dBm, so you can count a whole stockroom or narrow the field to a single shelf. Sensor-fusion item finding guides staff directly to a specific tagged item.
All-day power
The 7,000 mAh removable pistol battery supports Quick Charge 3.0 and hot-swapping, so a battery change never interrupts a stock count. A 6-inch HD display (FHD+ optional) with Gorilla Glass works with gloves and wet hands.
Rugged and versatile
IP65 sealing, 1.5 m drops to MIL-STD-810H and 1,000 tumbles protect the C5E in busy stores and warehouses. Barcode scanning, NFC, PSAM, Wi-Fi, 4G and GPS make it a complete data-capture terminal, not just an RFID reader.
