Description
The Honeywell Xenon Ultra 1960g is the latest generation of Honeywell’s popular Xenon family of handheld imagers. Designed for retail checkouts, pharmacies, logistics counters and light manufacturing, it reads printed labels, poor-quality and damaged barcodes, and codes on smartphone screens quickly and reliably.
A green-dot LED aimer makes targeting easy, and infrared object detection wakes the scanner automatically when an item is presented, so it works equally well handheld or in a presentation stand.
Built for speed at the counter
Motion tolerance of up to 4 m/s on 13 mil UPC codes means items can be swiped quickly without missed reads, keeping queues moving. The scanner performs in lighting from total darkness up to 100,000 lux, and reads codes with as little as 15% print contrast.
Tough enough for daily use
The 1960g is engineered to survive 50 drops from 1.8 m to concrete and 2,000 tumbles, and is sealed to IP52 against dust and splashes. A 5-year warranty reflects that durability.
Easy to deploy and manage
USB, RS-232 and keyboard-wedge interfaces connect it to virtually any POS or PC, and Honeywell Scanner Management Utility (SMU) lets IT teams configure and update scanners remotely.
