Zebra calls the ZD611R the industry’s only 2-inch desktop RAIN RFID printer/encoder. It shares the architecture of the 4-inch ZD621R but fits on a crowded counter, in a pharmacy or on a mobile cart. It prints and encodes small RFID labels, jewellery and apparel tags, specimen labels and patient wristbands at the point of use.

RFID set-up without the guesswork
The built-in Zebra RE40 reader/encoder uses Adaptive Encoding Technology to choose the best encoding settings for each inlay, so you don’t have to follow complex placement guidelines. It supports EPC Gen 2 V2.1, ISO/IEC 18000-63 and RAIN RFID tags down to a 16 mm pitch. RFID logs with timestamps and job monitoring tools show how every tag was encoded.
Easy for every user
A 4.3-inch colour touch display guides staff through set-up wizards, media loading and calibration, and changes colour to show printer status at a glance. The ZD611R runs ZPL and EPL, so existing label formats keep working, and the Zebra DNA emulation app supports languages from other printer brands.
Secure and remotely managed
Link-OS, PrintSecure and Printer Profile Manager Enterprise let IT teams configure, update and monitor printers across sites from one place. Field-installable Wi-Fi 6/Bluetooth 5.3, a peeler, a cutter and a battery base let the printer grow with your workflow.
