Description
The Zebra FX9600 is designed for demanding fixed RFID points such as warehouse dock doors, conveyors, portals and manufacturing lines. Choose the FX9600-4 with four antenna ports or the FX9600-8 with eight ports to cover wider areas with a single reader.
Its industry-leading -86 dBm receive sensitivity and EPC Gen2 V2 support deliver accurate, reliable reads in dense tag populations and RF-noisy industrial environments.
Built for industrial environments
A die-cast aluminium housing sealed to IP53 protects the reader from dust and moisture, and it operates from -20 °C to 55 °C. Multicolour LEDs show power, activity, status and application state at a glance during installation and operation.
Flexible power and connectivity
Power the FX9600 with PoE, PoE+ or 24 V DC; PoE+ or 24 V delivers the full +33 dBm output. Ethernet, USB host and client, serial and four optically isolated GPIO inputs and outputs connect it to light stacks, sensors and PLCs.
Edge applications and remote management
The Linux platform runs embedded applications in C or Java, and host applications use .NET, C or Java SDKs. Firmware is upgraded remotely, and TLS 1.2 security and IPv6 support fit enterprise networks. It is a direct successor to the FX9500.
