Introduction
The school is a continuation of the success and reputation of The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for
Boys and Girls which was established in 2000 to fulfill the vision of the Late President, H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
The Problem
Sheikh Zayed School being a very prestigious school has many valuable assets. It’s always difficult to
keep track of all the existing or new assets in a large organization due to the distribution of assets in
various departments and for a school where there are many children would be the ones using many of
the assets. So the management of Sheikh Zayed School was looking for a technology that would help
them to track the fixed assets very easily. Technowave Group which has been one of the leading

The Solution
For the machineries used in kitchen needed special type of tags. As firstly, those machineries were made up of metal and RFID label would not be read on the metal surface and secondly these equipment since used in cooking needed to be washed regularly. Hence special ‘on Metal RFID tags’ were used for these machines. These ‘on Metal RFID tags’ were stuck on those portion of the machinery which would be washed.
Technowave tagging team which has extremely hardworking and professional people has done their job with utmost dedication. Since the project was done during the academic year, during day time school would be carrying out their regular activities, the team had to work at nights.
The Result
The employees of the school experienced extremely fast and accurate counting of the assets which
has reduced their work load.
The management is satisfied due to the drop in the missing numbers of fixed assets. Keeping a track of
the no of assets and their custodian has become much easier and accurate.
