Description
The Impinj MatchBox is a tiny near-field UHF RFID antenna, about the size of a matchbox, that creates a very small, precisely controlled read zone of up to roughly 5 cm. It is designed for embedded and item-level solutions that must read one tag, and only that tag, even when many other tagged items are close by.
Broadband coverage from 865 to 956 MHz lets it work with readers configured for the ETSI band used in the UAE and GCC, as well as FCC and other regions.
Exceptional control in a small zone
Its bi-directional short-range field reads tags placed above or below it, making it ideal for slots, trays, drawers and small enclosures where each position needs its own read point.
Built to be embedded
At only 73 × 33 × 12 mm, the MatchBox fits inside kiosks, lockers, dispensers, smart cabinets and custom devices. Combine many MatchBox antennas with an Impinj antenna hub to monitor dozens of slots from one reader.
