Description
The Impinj Mini-Guardrail is a compact proximity antenna that creates a tightly controlled read zone of up to about 7.5 cm. Unlike far-field antennas that read everything in a room, it reads only the tags placed directly over or beside it, which is exactly what item-level applications need.
Its broadband design (865–954 MHz) supports global RAIN RFID frequency plans, so the same antenna works with ETSI-region readers in the UAE and GCC as well as FCC and other bands.

Use Mini-Guardrail antennas inside cabinets, drawers, display cases and smart shelves to know exactly which item sits in which slot, without picking up neighbouring stock.
Ideal for counters and access points
At point-of-sale and returns desks, the antenna reads or encodes just the item on the counter. In ticketing and access control it reads only the card or wristband presented to it.
Unobtrusive and easy to install
The low-profile 134 × 70 × 13 mm housing hides easily under shelves and counters and connects with a standard SMA female connector. Use it directly with an Impinj reader or through an Impinj antenna hub for many read points.
