Description
The Brady HH86 is the latest handheld RFID reader from the Nordic ID engineering team, now part of Brady. It combines a UHF RAIN RFID reader, an NFC/HF reader and a 2D barcode imager in one Android 14 device, so a single operator can count stock, find assets and scan labels without switching tools.
This EU version (B-HH86-UHF-EU) works in the ETSI 868 MHz band used in the UAE and GCC and ships with the pistol grip fitted, ready for long inventory rounds.
Fast, accurate RFID counts
Powered by the Nordic ID NUR3-1W RFID engine with a circularly polarised 4 dBic antenna, the HH86 reads up to 1,200 tags per second with receive sensitivity down to -80 dBm. RF output adjusts in 1 dB steps up to 0.8 W ERP, so you can widen the field for cycle counts or narrow it to locate a single item.
Modern Android platform
An eight-core processor (four Kryo 260 Gold cores at 2.0 GHz and four Silver cores at 1.8 GHz), 4 GB RAM and 64 GB flash with microSD support run enterprise apps smoothly. The 720p Gorilla Glass 3 touchscreen, 16 MP autofocus camera, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.1 keep users connected on the floor.
Built for full shifts in tough sites
IP65 sealing, 1.6 m drop resistance and an operating range of -20 °C to 55 °C suit warehouses, yards and plants. A 10,050 mAh changeable Li-ion battery keeps the device running, and the main APIs stay compatible with earlier Nordic ID readers, so existing apps port easily.
