Description
The Honeywell PM65 is the 6-inch sibling of the PM45 and is built for the larger shipping, pallet and carton labels that logistics and manufacturing operations depend on. Its rugged all-metal print mechanism is made for 24/7 duty, and the touch display makes everyday jobs such as loading media and changing settings straightforward.
This configuration is a thermal-transfer 203 dpi model with a touch display, USB and Ethernet connectivity, and a tear bar.
Wide labels, fast output
The PM65 prints up to 167.4 mm wide, takes media from 51 mm to 178 mm and runs at up to 12 ips (300 mm/s) at 203 dpi, or 10 ips at 300 dpi. Ribbon rolls of 450 m with a 1-inch core keep changeovers infrequent, and ink-in and ink-out ribbons are both supported.
Connected and manageable
Standard interfaces are 10/100 Ethernet, two USB 2.0 host ports, a USB device port and RS-232, with parallel, industrial I/O, applicator and RFID options for other configurations. Honeywell Printer Edge provides centralised management and monitoring, and the Print Set MC app configures the printer from an Android or iOS device. It speaks Fingerprint, DPL, IPL, ZPL-II (ZSim2), PDF and C# smart printing, so it can replace mixed fleets.
Easy maintenance
An easily accessed printhead and tool-free platen roller replacement reduce downtime, and 512 MB flash with 256 MB RAM leaves room for fonts, graphics and smart-printing apps.
